Hi Everyone:

Just wanted to remind everyone that Vince's workshop on Coloured Clay and
Ancient Clay are well worth attending. Michael McDowell's organic farm,
where the workshops will be held, is an experience of its own. Michael is a
generour host, offering his kitchen for the preperation of the shared meals.
And then there are Michael's amazing plates to eat from. As you would
expect, Vince not only shares his extraordinary techniques, he also has a
fantastic slide presentation. His slides are turly educational. He has
included a great deal of history regarding ancient vessels and the firing
process.
I would recommend both workshops. The Coloured Clay workshop for the magic
that Vince creates with the colours and designs on functional and
non-funcutional pieces. The Ancient Clay workshop for the building of
ancient vessels, application of the terra-sigialata and the thrill of the
firing process.
