Hi,
I personally use Craggy Crunch from Highwater Clays, Asheville, NC. This =
clay
has a firing range from cone 7 to 10 and is beautiful. I fire it cone 8
oxidation. It is a dream to work with, good body, just right for sculpture.
The catalog says it is beautiful in wood fired kilns, although I haven't =
tried
that yet.
