The Ringcone Popet is an excellent wheel. I happen to have one myself. I
don't recall saying the Ringcone is equivalent, but that it was replaced by
the RK10. It is an RK2 made from 1960 to 1972. Many are still in use and we
still sell drive rings for them. The instruction manual is also available.

I have a shimpo wheel for sale. It has a 16" wheel head, belt was recently
replaced (by the way, for anyone that has a shimpo and needs a belt, Amoco
clay's wheel uses the same belt). It is at least 15 years old, has been
used minimally since it has the controls on the side of the wheel (foot
pedal and gear shift lever) and my knees do not like the configuration.
Maybe at most a years worth of use. Metal covering could use some paint
maybe. I am asking $400 for it. I am located in Central Florida (DeLand)
and purchaser would be responsible for shipping/pick up etc. I don't mind
delivering within a reasonable 100 mile radius. Once again, since my
father's death, the expenses have overwhelmed me, I need money and the
lottery is not cooperating! Course I guess I am supposed to buy a ticket
also but since I have little faith in lotteries I am reluctant to lose the
dollar. Beth

If anyone is interested, we have a Shimpo wheel for sale and it's in =
very good condition. My husband bought me a new Pacifica wheel and I =
don't have any need for two. In addition I do have a manual stand up =
wheel which I use for trimming and wouldn't give that one up for =
anything. Since I saw another Shimpo for sale on Clayart, I'll ask the =
same price.....$300. picked up and I live in Cheltenham, Pa. which is =
just outside of Philadelphia. Please contact me off line if you care to =
