I am interested in finding a clay and glaze recipes that fit together in a =
one
firing process anywhere between cone 04 to 6.
Due to the high cost of electricity in Denmark, this could prove very cost
effective. Are there any inherent dangers with this process that would
discourage me from wanting to do this? In a C.M. article, Jan.99, featured
artist Suze Lindsay saves time with once firing. She lists slip and glaze
recipes for cone 9-10. I use a white clay body now that fires from 04 up =
to 6.
I prefer medium range stoneware, cone 6. Any ideas, suggestions =
appreciated.
