Hi Everyone - I will be having my tiles for sale at a local craft place
in August and need a little help finding something:
Does anyone know where I can find REMOVABLE stickers about 1 inch by 2
inch that are on an 8.5 x 11 sheet that can be run through a computer
printer? (Not the dot-matrix type printers.) I have looked at Office
Max and can't find anything that is removable and not a dot matrix
printer.
I could save lot lots of time if I could find the labels and it would
prevent my hand from cramping up, writing the same thing over and over.

I made the mistake of using the office max labels to stick on the back of my
tile tests. I think on the ceramic material (be default) they won't stick
long. I have to keep retaping my tests. Try it, but in my case they peel
right off!

Carla,
Not sure about their 'removability', but, Avery products have labels in all
sorts of shapes and sizes. They can be printed through 'Word 97' and you can
download a free label printing program from the Avery web site for free. It
works great. I find them at the local Staples or Office
Max.http://www.avery.com/software/ Download the 'Wizard'. I have an ink
jet printer.

GO back to Office Max and ask for Avery "Remove 'em" labels. Some Avery
codes are 06498, 06499, 06500, and 06501.

Dear Carla:
Avery makes an assortment of label sheets that can be printed on both ink
jet and laser printers. The sheets are single feed sheets. I purchase them
through Office Depot.
Word Perfect and Word have an option under "format" that lists labels. The
packaging has the code number which correlates to the numbers listed within
the software program (Word Perfect or Word). I, as well as many people I
know use this method for creating slide labels, address labels, business
cards. I do believe with the broad variety of sizes you will find something
suitable.
Good Luck,

You didn't say what you would be attaching the labels to. I recently bought
some oak furniture at an outlet. They had attached labels right on the
finished surface. The sales rep took a can of WD40 and sprayed it on the
label, it came right off. Being oil base it didn't hurt the furniture. I'm
guessing that it you were putting the label on a glazed surface and wanted
to remove it, you could do the same.

Hello Computer Label and Office Supply fans!
I found a source you might investigate, for removable computer printer (in
sheets, for inkjet and laser printers). Call Staples: 1-800-333-3330. Their
customer service is superb. If their catalogs don't list an item, they will
special-order it for you. As long as Avery Label Co. makes it, Staples has
it. Delivery is via UPS or FED EX.

Would printing your lables on a sheet of plain paper, and then later coating
it with, say rubber cement, work??
