Thank you, Phyllis, for sorta' throwing in this part about your use of
the grip. Never entered my mind to use it for something so obvious! I'll
bet there are other clayarters who have the awkwardness I experience
when deciding where to add feet or coils to the bottom of a pot. #1
Support Person has contrived several devices that help ... and I hasten
to add that I DO get there ... but this suggestion is much appreciated.
My thinking, along with my memory, doesn't always log on in a timely
manner.

In the Mojave unaccustomed to the humidity-caused damp, sticky feel of
furniture and carpets ... don't like it ... but did enjoy the
thunder&lightning rain storm on the way over the mountain to Bakersfield
yesterday ... even stopped to gas up just so I could stand out in it.
Needless to say, I had the pumps to myself.
