Vince completed his workshop here in Steamboat Springs on Friday July 2 and
hung out a few days afterwards to hike the hills and finish some pieces.

The workshop was a resounding success. There were 4 participants, so each
one got lots of personal attention and support. I was able to join in
periodically and was so impressed with Vince's presentation. His work
attitudes, professionalism, all were evident. His slide show of colored
clay was quite good, and the slides of his own work and development were
not only impressive, but overwhealming!! The pot luck dinner was attended
by other Steamboat clay folk currently at La Loba, and good food and cheer
was had by all.

This was indeed also an education for myself as well, and I would encourage
anyone with a ceramics program that has a budget for visiting artists to
bring Vince in for a week. It will be well worth it. I am so pleased, and
priviledged, to have had this opportunity.

As one of the four participants at Vince's workshop I totally agree with
Jonathan. Vince covers his methods of working with colored clay thoroughly and
freely offers the tips and tricks he has learned along the way. You end up
with pieces that have everyone asking "how the heck you did you do that?"

His slide shows are great, his own work is amazing, and not only is he
professional, he also has a great sense of humor - the week flew by and I'm
amazed at all that he fit in. I'd recommend his workshop to anyone interested
in learning new ways of working with clay.

Jonathan, thank you for hosting it.

Patty
