Thank you! Thank you to all who replied with cures for the crazing. I will
answer individually, as soon as I can. Right now it is 1:00 A.M., and I've
got water boiling in the kitchen so I can dunk my frozen plates! (My family
is very understanding.) Then I have to adjust the silica, make tests, refire,
test for cold spots, extend the firing time . . . ."Ask and ye shall
receive". . .Have I got a lot of work to do! I feel so much better because
you all agreed. I can fix this! I'm not completely lost, just mainly self
taught - degrees in English and art, no ceramics. I truly appreciate you
taking time from your work to guide me along. Wish I could help you in
return. Any body need a recipe for salsa or margaritas?
