traveling to austin: potters' guild show

The Members of the San Antonio Potters' Guild will open "Origins in Clay" a
national clay exhibition on Sunday July 18th, 2-4 PM. at the Hill Country
Arts Foundation in Ingram, Texas, 507 State Hwy. 39 West . Not too far from
Austin in the beautiful Texas hill country. We will have on display nearly
70 works in clay from 50 artists from 18 states.

The show was juried by Eddie Dominquez, University of Nebraska.

Juan Granados was selected to receive Best of Show Award ($1000.) with "Seed
and Sprout"
Christopher Davis-Benavides received a Judges Award ($500.) for "Andar en un
Repozo".
Amanda Jaffe received a Judges Award ($500.) for "Hidden Pool 1"
Two Honorable Mentions: Eric Eley, "Leak"
Michael Wisner, "Princes Ortiz"

"Origins in Clay" will end August 14, 1999.
