This is a basic shino recipe for ^9 / ^10

Nepheline syenite 70
China clay 30

However, it can quite often benefit by the addition of some alkali. You
could add any high, alkaline frit e.g. F3110 or whatever you've got.

In a recent set of tests we added 5 lots of 5% addition of F3110 in an
increasing progression. (So that we ended up with 6 tests -i.e.
1. The base glaze,
2. The base glaze + 5% F3110
3. The base glaze + 10% F3110
etc.... up to
6. Base glaze + 25% F3310.

In our case No 3. was the best but there are many variables of
kiln/firing & temperature that it's worth doing the progression and
picking out the one you like best. I suspect, though, that with your
wood firing No 1 may be great on it's own (getting some help from the
fly ash)

Cheers,

Mike.
