A while ago, I asked for advice about using a cone ten glaze for single
fire (G-Matt 3) Well, it worked out fine. I took Mel Jacobsen's advice and
did a real slow bisque phase and when it went to high temperatures, it got
there fast. I took extra precautions to cool slowly as it is a bit thick. I
fired down and it was fine. I also fired a thick slab for a fountain and
used Gustin shino on it. The colors were just as they are hused in a
bisque- high fire situation
