If no one is able to provide you with a source, let me know. It should not
be too difficult to design a simple alarm unit for you. In fact, you may
have just spurred a Good Idea.

First, you have an electronic controller. Check with the maker of your kiln
and find out of the controller can be powered by a separate 115VAC source.
IF It can be and you do so, a small investment in a "computer"
un-interruptible power supply (APC) will solve this.
These units charge a battery and can continue to supply 115VAC for several
minutes after power is lost. This will prevent the controller from loosing
its place. Sure, the firing will be behind (the time the power was lost)
but the controller keeps on doing its thing. Please note, the APC can
supply the controller only, not the power to the elements!
Its not a bad idea to power the controller from an "APC" anyway, it will
protect it from spikes and surges that would not affect the elements, but
could fry the controller.
This is not my idea (although I would love to claim it) but was discussed in
the product information that came with my L&L kiln.
