Tom Coleman has self-published "Glazes I Use" in a convenient handbook.
The glaze requested as "Orange Red Kaki" is not listed by that name,
though there is a suspiciously similar sounding "Tomato Iron Red" on page
15.

I have no connection with Tom and Elaine, but respect there work. A
student brought in the handbook to show me, which we then ordered for sale
at our campus bookstore. AS with all glaze recipes, buyer (tester) beware.

The contact info in the handbook is:

Coleman Clay Studios-Las Vegas
(702) 451-1981
1003 Santa Ynez
Henderson, Nevada 89015

Through our store, the handbook retails for about $20.00

Best wishes from one who benefits from this dialogue, but seldom
contributes.

magnesite 5.0
bone ash 7.0

ilene...

1250 degrees C is somewhere between ^'s 7 and 8... it was probably
originally fired in a wood buring kiln... you need to try it out in red and
ox firings... do test tiles...

good luck...
