spray guns final report

Awhile back I asked for experience about spray guns, and got LOTs of great
help. Well, it's taken me this long to get set up and try it out, but I'm
here to report that my new set-up rocks! I got the Gilmore
Handi-Sandblaster and put a 3 foot tube dangling from it to the glaze
buckets on the floor. Have a bucket of water there too to clear out the
line between glazes. Works like a dream for quick changes of glaze. Also
got the Harbor Freight HVLP Central Pneumatic, which comes with it's own in
line pressure gauge (uses lots less pressure than the blaster). Put a T on
the compressor line, and two 10 foot compressor hose sections so I can have
both guns set up at the same time and switch between them quickly. The HVLP
lays the glaze down real nice and even, without a lot of backspray. Use
that for the base coat, then the blaster for the second or more coats. I
haven't tried to get into pinpoint type spraying yet, but will be
experimenting with finer control as I go along. However, wanted to get
this out to the list as a way to say thanks to all who helped me, and
encourage all the lurkers who are tailing along on this thread.

Where it's soooo dry. But I tried sculling on the river last night and
gained respect. Thought I was quite a boats-woman, but this beat all - man
those boats are awesome! Made me feel like the first time I got on a Nordic
track though - like I was going to fall over any second! It's fun to be 50+
and trying new stuff! Then went to buddy John Baymore's and fired his
Naborigama, another first. That is one sweet dragon - even looks like one!
