Hi Sandy,
I am sure I read an advertisement in Ceramics monthly about a kiln wash =
who's
promoters
said did not drop off and the shelves could be washed on both sides.
Anyone know what I am talking about (obviously I do not).
The benefit of flipping without flaking kiln wash.
What would this =22wonder=22 product be?
Just wondering if I use the time to try to find this product.

Dear Alisa:
Available from Axner Pottery Supply 800-843-7057, "Best Darned Kiln Wash In The
World!!!" - "Lee's Super Incredible Kiln Wash" Price per gallon $40. This is
straight from the catalog, not my notes.
I have been using this for a couple of years and it does not appear to flake.
Lee Shank has been a potter for 40+ years and is constantly researching and
improving things. I have not tried to kiln wash both sides of the shelf and
would like to see some more comments on this as I'm chicken to try it until I
hear from lots of others who have done so.
