Dear Clayarters,

My name is Constant Albertson. I am a ceramic sculptor, teacher (I teach
ceramics and Art in Early Childhood Development)=96finishing up my Ph.D. in =
art
education, and using my husband=92s subscription to this list. I could =
really
use your help for some research I am doing.

In late July, several of you were discussing the importance of art in =
schools.
Mel Jacobson=92s stories were of special interest to me. Do any of you =
teachers,
learners, artists have stories of =91reluctant readers=92 reading in the =
kiln
room=92? If you have stories that you would share with me, you can either =
send
them to Clayart or to me directly. Please let me know if I can quote you.
Thank you=21 Connie

P.S. Mel, may I quote this story? Connie
