My biggest pot to date (please note big happy, bragging grin) is too
tall for my kiln. I wanted to bisque it today and it's 'head and
shoulders' stuck out. I take it I could bisque it at a slant by resting it
against the side bricks (did not have space to do that to day) but,
once bisqued, how am I going to do the glaze fire? Any ideas?
I doubt that it is going to shrink enough in the bisque to stand upright
in the kiln.
