One of my cats like to curl up in my bowls. Doesn't matter what size, doesn't
matter whether they're bisqued, green, or glazed. I came in to my "pseudo
studio" the other day to find a greenware bowl I was in the midst of decorating,
completely and evenly smashed on all sides, and the cat purring sweetly curled
in the too-small middle. Win some, lose some.

Oh yes, let's have a thread on pets and clay, I could tell you about my
kitties and their favorite places to sleep, one of which happens to be on my
canvas tables, leaving their fur for me to wedge into my clay.
The parakeet hasn't been introduced to clay yet, other than his view from
hook I hang him up on while I work down in my basement studio. But he
thinks he's a "pretty bird" and says so.
(So you CAN teach parakeets to talk!)
As for the hedgehog, well, he sleeps all day and runs all night, not much
else to say about him. No interest in clay what so ever.

In Oregon, where it was cloudy in the low-lands,
but up on Hood where I was playing hooky form work today, we had marvolous
sunshine!
