One of ceramic prof. at Syracuse Univ. David MacDonald,
told me to swipe the pitcher's lip edge down as parrallel
to the vessel as you can. This I do and it makes for virtually dripless
pouring.
If you look at the pouring lip sideways, it has a narrow flange down under =
the
actual
pouring shaft that lines up with the cylinder of the pitcher body.
