changing electric to raku kiln

updated tue 31 aug 99

Just bought a new electric kiln after my old one (very old) faded
away, but I would like to take the old one and make a propane raku kiln
out of it.
It seems like a simple process, but I have found that nothing in
pottery is ever as easy as I think it is. So, I would appreciate any
advice from anyone who has done it.

Get yourself a copy of Steve Branfman's book "Raku, a Practical
Approach", he covers that very clearly.
