While wandering through the internet I came across a site sponsored by the
Propane Gas Association. One of the pages includes pricing from the spot
markets. For those who wonder if they're taking it. We just contracted for
next year....$.55 per gallon through Dec 31 and $.59 after that. 6,000
gallons, agricultural rate thru Dec. 31st.
The web site is www.propanegas.com

Currently propane is fluctuating. I have two 80# tanks that I fill a =
4-5 times a year. I own the tanks, cost was around $100 per tank. I =
take them down to the welding supply in my pickup truck and they fill =
them. It is up to me to place and transport the tanks. Costs $32.00 =
per tank at the moment. Last summer the cost was around $40.00 per tank =
and has gone as low as $26.00. There is a tanks last about 10 years and =
then you need new ones. I haven't found anyone that take trade ins yet.
