Martin -
I'll go one more. A potter I knew on the West Coast took used blue jeans,
sewed the bottoms of the legs shut, hung the pants over a sturdy horizontal
pole, and filled the legs with slurry. It was quite a sight. Left them
until the clay stiffened, and then skinned off the pants.
