Hi! I'm relocating to the East Bay for a fall term to continue my
ceramics studies with a semester at CCAC. I'm looking for shared
studio space with someone or persons who have a ceramic studio
set up with kiln(s). My work right now is figurative. I have some
images online at www.claymedia.com/sfbay/artists/ryl/

What I'm looking for:
- some shared space from Sept. thru mid-Dec
- studio location in Berkeley, Rockridge, Emeryville, Oakland areas,
transit accessible, safe location for walking
- some firings, electric is fine, raku would be great
- would be great to participate in Open Studios, Holiday sales

What I have to offer/trade:
- web development skills, my web site is www.claymedia.com
- throwing skills, tutored at the Santa Barbara City College '98-'99
- glaze formulation, have some glaze calculation theory and experience
- general studio skills, making clay, firing kilns (electric and gas),
I was a studio assistant at the Fort Mason SF City College campus '96-'98
- can help pay part of the rent $$
- I love working with clay, am energetic, enthusiastic, easy-going
- have great references

If you have space you'd consider sharing or know someone that might,
please let me know. Thanks in advance!
