Hi Joyce!
Thanks for your informative and whimsical replies to ClayArt discussions. In
your last letter, you said that you're outside the "fire zone," referring to
the forest fires high up in the San Bernardino Mountains.
I'm not much closer to the blaze, but we've been smelling smoke from it for
the past two nights! Not too pleasant, since I'm asthmatic. The fire is
evidently still out of control, and is approaching the lower elevations, on
the other side of the mountain from where I live.
