Lori,
I would recommend making a test piece and putting a few glazes on, and firing
them when you do a raku. Some work, others don't look so hot, but it is
possible to use commercial glazes in raku

For Raku,I tried once, Duncen( Did I spell it right) decorative glazes+10%
frit 3134 and they melted

I tested a whole bunch of low-fire ,commercial glazes in a raku firing and
they all came out great-- but they were not textural --straight-forward
gloss colors. Good luck!
