Diane....
I can/could get the light greens and yellows, sometimes pinks and light blues
with the Pipenburg patina. I was all dependent on the reduction I got. I think
sometimes it was the combustible used. I would get some shredded computer paper
from work that contained documents in "triplicate". This paper was coated with
chemicals in order to make the two extra copies from one printing (on dot matrix
printers). Be real careful of the fumes from this stuff... I am sure its toxic

Hi!
A few months ago I tested the 80/20 Raku base with the colorant in the same
amount that I use them on my "local" Raku base - I wanted to see if it would
be different.Of course THEY WERE!
some of them were nice so here they are:
Base
--------
gerstley Borate80
Nepheline Syenyte 20
Grass green:copper carbonate1
Chrome................1
Turquoise: try 3 copper oxide or carbonate
Dark blue green:Cobalt oxide1.5
2 chrome
Light Blue:cobalt oxide0.25
red iron oxide 0.25
Zircopax........10
You can add a few %of copper for nice spots in reduction
Good luck Ababi
