Hi everyone...thank you so much for your responses. I see that a couple of
books in particular are recommended more than once. I also would like to
thank you for the suggestion to watch videos. I have done that but the
selection here is quite limited.
I really appreciate the advice of all of you. Reading this listerv
regularly makes me feel as though I have a great many instructors helping
me learn this art.

You can borrow WONDERFUL videos from the Studio Potter collection, located
at http://www.studiopotter.org/. They have quite a collection, and some of
the titles are actually a 5 or 6 tape series!
