Mo & Les,
Carlton Ball is my glaze guru from the day he published his recipies in
Ceramic Monthly a few decades ago.
Here is his Chun glaze cone 9-10
Chun Glaze, clear at cone 10, translucent at cone 9. Omit tin oxide
for a clear glaze in oxidation.

Felspar 42.4
kaolin l.8
flint 26.5
whiting 2.6
gerstley borate 8.8
dolomite 8.8
zinc oxide l.76
barium carb 4.4
tin oxide 2.6

Here is another chun glaze from Emmanuel Cooper - I have not tried
it

Delicate Chun glaze - Orton cone 7,8,or 9

Felspar 46
dolomite 6
zinc oxide 6
whiting l0
china clay 2
Flint 30

a clear transparent glaze which forms optical blue where thick.

PS was it you who recently asked whether I would sell a book? My husband
deleted the message by accident, so I could not respond. The answer would
have been no. I would ask a bookseller to search for a book that was out of
print.
