I am firing some porcelain bowls (cone 10, reduction)
that have been decorated with a bit of colored slip. They
get a covering of clear glaze in the final firing.
I would love to put a thin red band around the outside top
edge of some of these bowls. I thought I saw a message
here a while ago on a reliable mix of copper something
and tin oxide (probably??) that can be "painted" on the
bisque piece. (I already use cobalt and nickel compounds
to add blues and metalic overtones this way.)
Anyone remember that formula, or have something similar?
