Hi Monona, Craig & John,
The safety limits for Manganese for water came from Alred. He didn't seem
worried, because he said that it was a 24 hour leachate test, and no one
would get that much unless they left an acidic substance stored in it for 24
hours. The same was true for the Cobalt. I guess I would just rather be
safe than worry about someone being harmed after I sold the pot.
I did test the Black glaze without the Mason stain but it came out more brown
than black.
