Hi Susan,
I too have a stand up wheel, but no foot pedal. I substituted a hand switch
with a rheostat on the side just below the splash pan. Mine is an old Amaco
that I put a new motor on. Wouldn't think that putting a hand switch on any
wheel would be that difficult since the foot pedal is essentially just a
switch and a rheostat.
