So, after you have used the 100% ball clay and
followed all of the directions, and the Sig peels
after firing... Can you get disturbed and put
commercial glaze over it and re-fire, if you like the
piece that much, and are a tad on the lazy don't realy
feel like making it again side??? :)

I'm sure I could just do it and see, but again a tad
on the lazy don't realy feel like it... :)

Just wondering.....

Anji!

well, if u really really really like your peice but, still the terra sigi
peels off, then, u should make another peice. u can have experiments as
long as u satisfy. plus, u cannot control what happens inside of kiln so
make sure that u should take notes every details what terra sigi u apply, how
u apply, and when u apply in the process.

also, if u are afraid of peeling off, u may use stains such as copper oxide
before the firing. u need to apply the stain on the bisque. then, apply
terra sigi on it. this stain turns black so if the terra sigi peels off, u
can use a permanent black magic maker.

u can also re-apply terra sigi on the peeling spot and re-fire it, but u
might get another peeling spot so i don't recommend u this technique, but
absolutely, u can try.

think positively! u are the artist. u can make another one. be creative!

Yes, T you are absolutely right... But I guess I was
more curious of the effect.. I suppose if you (I) want
to be realistic, the fact is, If the piece was sooo
important I would have done it again, hummmmm, yea I
would have.. Or some crazy painting with rustolium or
something.. But I haven't done a blasted thing except
walk past the buffet that it sits on and blow the
fallen SIG off the wood... Hahahahahaha Maybe I should
just entertain the hammer... Aw, heck!! May as well
glaze it and throw it in the kiln, see what happens...
What could happen -- it gets worse... Oh well....

I resently, had a piece that the terra sig peeled off and I used contie
crayon and a spray fixative to repair it. worked great!
