Announcement:
The show, "Master Teachers, Master Students" will open this Friday
evening at the Shcool of Art at Bowling Green State University, Ohio.
Internationally known artist, Jim Leedy (sculpture faculty at Kansas City
Art Institute), will present a slide lecture and will demonstrate some of
his techniques on Friday evening, as well.
Schedule: (All events in the School of Art at BGSU)
6:30 pm Slide lecture in room 404
7:30 pm Opening reception in the Wankelman Gallery
9:30 pm Workshop, demonstrations, and get-to know-the-artist party in
the Ceramics Department. We work into the wee hours at BG!
This is a really big show of contemporary ceramics, featuring Jim Leedy, Don
Reitz, Jun Kaneko, Ken Ferguson, Toshiko Takeazu, Mary Louise Carter, Dan
Anderson, and many others. We welcome anyone in the area to attend. Bowling
Green is 20 miles south of Toledo, on I75.
