axner electric kilns

Does anyone have/use an Axner double-wall "superkiln" or know anything
about them? I like the specs (double wall, Kanthal elements, ^10), as well
as the price, but have only a not-very-good xerox flyer from the
distributor. Does anyone have this kiln, find it wonderful, or have had
problems with it? I'm comparing it with a ConeArt with similar specs. Any
and all comments or comparisons are welcome and will be appreciated.

I'm looking to replace one of the big top loading Skutts at the HS I teach =
at.
Looking in the catalogs I found the Axner "Super Kiln". It looks =
promising on paper. Have any of you used one and did it make you happy?

Bob - Have been using the largest Axner "super" kiln for about 2
years, very pleased with it so far. Firing both bisque & cone 6
glaze. Be aware the kiln comes as one piece, no sections, so make
sure it will fit through your doorways. Hard to reach the bottom of
this kiln, have to stand on cinder block to do so
(I'm about 5' 9" tall). Did have small problem - piece of firebrick
cracked and fell out from top of lid on the outside, next to where
lid hinge is mounted. Manufacturer sent me some lid cement, but it
didn't hold. I suspect this heavy lid with a single lid propping bar
caused the lid to twist slightly putting more stress in the affected
area, thus causing crack.
