To all Clayarters-
The second Crafts Fair of the Southern Hignlands of this year will be next
week in Ashville, NC. It is the second in 1999, but this is about the 52nd
year. You may remember my notice about the one in July.
THere will be many potters (and other clayworkers) there, including some
Clayarters. A very wide assortment of other crafts are represented. It
opens Thursday, October 21st and closes Sunday night. Opening time is ten
AM and closing is six PM. THe location is the Ashville Civic center, just
off I240 in the center of Ashville.
If you get there , stop and say Hello- I am the "Pricipal support person"
for Iris, who is a quilter.
To bad Mel will be tied up with Vince- since he will be only about 200
miles west of there. (hey- 200 miles is lots closer than he would be in
Minnetonka)
Bill- about to depart his beloved Persimmon Hill for a week.
