Thanks for your support and the messages to date.
I asked Christian some additional questions, which he has answered:

1. SIZE REQUIRED: around 200 liters.
(Sorry, my mathematics are not up to converting to cubic capacity in =
imperial
measurements=21=21).

2. TEMPERATURE: 1000 degrees Celsius would be fantastic if possible and 1150
maximum (probably unobtainable).

3. WHICH =22KILN BOOK=22 DID HE SEND? He does not know. It is a =22standard =
work=22 he
saw at a fellow potters someplace.

4. IS PALM WINE ALCOHOLIC AND IF SO WHAT =25? Seemingly it is alcoholic and =
people
get really drunk on it, but it is not high Vol.-=25 -- more like a new wine =
still
fermenting, like the German =22Federweise=22.

5. WHAT SORT OF CLAY IS AVAILABLE? A normal red or terracotta which is dug =
out
of the ground locally. Very low firing.

6. HOW DO THEY FIRE NOW? By building a stack of pots and fuel into a bonfire=
and
firing it either in a pit or above ground.

7. WHAT FUEL IS AVAILABLE? They use some wood, but mostly a sort of reed out=
of
the forest/bush.

8. WHAT MATERIALS ARE UNOBTAILABLE? Anything and everything=21 That is why =
the
kiln will have to be built of simple clay bricks.

If you have any more suggestions or help they would be much appreciated.

Thank you
