Fellow Clay Artists,
I'm looking for any sources of good quality used firebrick in the Puget
Sound Area of Washington State. K23 or K25 straights and Hard Brick.
Soft brick, I need from 100 - 150. Hard Brick, 70 - 100.
I need to repair and rebuild part of my kiln.

Here in the mid-west we have an old quarry building that shut down several
years ago. I friend of mine asked the owners if she could look for
firebrick in the huge old furnace and they had no problem with that saying
she could have what ever she could find. Well, what she found where boxes &
boxes of replacement firebrick that never made it to the furnace. Talk
about the find of the day! So, go looking for an old factory building. GOOD
LUCK.
