Here is the recipe for the black:
RR c6 black #2
-----------------
F4 SPAR................21.00
WHITING................6.00
TALC........................3.00
F3134....................26.00
EPK........................17.00
SILICA...................27.00
BENTONITE...........2.00
RED IRON OX........9.00
coblt carb.......... 1.00
----------
Total.....................112.00
Here's another one. This one uses G200 (or Custer) spar instead of
F4:
RR c6 black #3
-----------------
G 200 SPAR............22.00
WHITING..................4.00
TALC..........................5.00
F3134......................26.00
EPK..........................17.00
SILICA.....................26.00
BENTONITE.............2.00
RED IRON OX.........9.00
coblt carb.................1.00
----------
Total......................112.00
These two are very similar, very glossy, very black on tan-brown
claybodies that I've tested. Fire to a true cone 6 for best results.
