A ceramics symposium on the relationship between 'East and West' is to held =
at
Rufford on November 20th 1999. The Symposium, which is chaired by David =
Whiting
will feature papers given by Sandy Brown, Michael Robinson, Takeshi Yasuda =
and
David Jones.
The day commences at 10.00am and will conclude at around 4.30pm. Coffee and =
tea
will be served throughout the day and a buffet lunch will be provided.
Fees are =A330 per person (inclusive) or =A325 for full time students =
holding NUS
cards and unwaged people with ES40 forms.

There have been some changes to our website recently, we now have a =
'newspaper',
the Ceramic Planet, that will be released on a quarterly basis.
The Planet is a tool for the ceramic community and will. hopefully be used =
by
yourselfs to circulate news, information on events or exhibitions or simply
ideas.

We also have a new shopping area, early stages yet, where you can order =

magazines or even purchase ceramic work by leading makers. I hope that you =
