MORE: This year Baltimore Clayworks is joining together its annual Holiday =
Sale
and Clay Art Sale/Studio Tour into one fabulous day. In the gallery will be
=22Winterfest 1999,=22 a national invitational exhibition and sale featuring=
the
functional work of 19 clay artists from around the country. Also on display =
in
and around the gallery will be the functional and sculptural work of our =
member
artists. Residents will open up their studio spaces, which will have more =
work
on display and for sale, and non-resident member artists will display more =
of
their work in our classrooms, which will be =22dressed up=22 for the =
occasion. Come
join us and celebrate the holiday season.
Baltimore Clayworks is a not-for-profit ceramic art center located in the =
Mt.
Washington neighborhood in northwest Baltimore. Founded in 1980, Clayworks =
is
housed in a renovated library, and offers classes, artists' spaces, =
exhibitions
and programs in the community. Hours are 10AM - 5 PM, Monday through =
Saturday.

Dear Clayarters-
Anyone in the northern Virginia/southern Maryland/Washington DC area
might be interested in coming to my annual holiday sale at my Leesburg, VA
studio. Mostly cone 11 salt-fired pots. Saturday, Dec 3, 10am-4pm and Sunday, Dec 4,
noon-4pm. My studio and gallery are located in a 160-year-old converted dairy
barn on 20 acres atop Catoctin Mt. just a few minutes west of historic
Leesburg. Very rustic and scenic. Easy to get to. Refreshments served. For
