ClayArter's--Here's a great opportunity to get online! And, apply for a

just for artists to apply. The main site that will be open to the public
(and artists!)will be up early in the new year.
The company is called iTheo.com. They are going to be a marketplace for high
quality emerging artists to exhibit and sell their work (ceramicists,
painters, printmakers, photographers, sculptors, and glass artists...more
categories later on).
*iTheo will design and host your website for FREE and give you control over
updating your images on your site anytime. They will provide ecommerce
(people can click on your image and buy it right there and then!) and give
you tools to manage and grow your mailing list. And, other cool stuff that
small business people need.
*Check them out...they aren't "launching" until early in the new year, but
they are seeking out high quality clay artists NOW.
*Grant deadline is January 15, 2000.
*They take a very small commission. And if you apply by the jan. 15 deadline
they'll take an even *smaller* commission for a whole year.
