Hi Everybody!
It's an interesting coincidence that both of these letters came on the same
day!
I suggest that both of these ClayArt readers go to the closest university,
college, or even community college, which has a photography dept. Place an ad
on the bulletin board, or speak to a professor or the dept. head. Chances are
good that a student who needs to photograph, in order to pass an assignment,
or in order to get further practice in photographing retail goods, will do
this well. There's also a possibility that a visiting pro photographer (an
instructor or alumni of the school) will see your ad, too.
A second idea is to find where the pros in photography send their film for
processing. There are several shops in both Orange County and San Francisco
(Berkeley, too!) which have bulletin boards for either soliciting
photographers or for the photographers to place their business cards. These
shops can be found in the Business Yellow Pages.
Third, check out the WWW--photographer's newsgroups and bulletin boards are
abundant.
Best wishes!

Too chilly and cloudy tonight, to see the meteor shower :(

We are finally going to take the good advice expressed many times on
this list and get PROFESSIONAL photos made of some of our work.
Does anyone know of a good ceramics photographer in the Southern Calif.
area -- the closer to Laguna Beach, the better.
Thanks.

professional photo's of some of my pottery.
Any referral would be appreciated.
