I have an oil-burner from my parent's furnace. It is a forced air type used
with fuel oil (diesel). I have heard it bandied about that these can be used
to fire a kiln. Does anyone have experience with this? If you do, what type
of kiln? What size and how much fuel do you end up using? I also have access
to slabs and sawdust, is there such a thing as a combination fuel kiln?
Celia-seeking reduction, higher temps and more variety. Besides they tell me
building a kiln would be good for me. (Perhaps this is punishment though, I
have been irritable of late)

Hi
Tom Gunn from New Zealand fired an oil kiln there but I don't have any info
perhaps
those from N.Z. or Oz would answer you.
