the last stages of firing the saggar kiln last night was
like playing a musical intrument...symphony of
fire...bring on the gas, udjust the air, fine tune the
damper.
peak in and listen to the color of the
fire...crescendo...licking flames. finale. quiet.
anything that good makes the aftermath of cracking,
opening unloading insignificant. It's the process folks.
the stuff is just the detritus. lucky someone always
wants it.
