The skin glue used by veterinarians is Nexaban. There is another brand too
but I can't remember the name. My husband, the vet, says the difference
between it and superglue from the hardware store is the heat generated by
superglue is greater and can cause minor tissue damage and slow healing.
That is straight from the horse's mouth, so to speak.
