i would not depend on a faster firing.
that can be controlled.
it may be more efficient, but no need to fire faster.
i have tried to stay away from claims that itc will save you gobs
of money, fire in almost zero hours.
it will protect, enhance, but to think that it will
race your kiln, well, don't think so.
it is a good product, not magic.
sorry to repeat myself.
the salt kiln at the farm goes very fast, but that is how we fire,
and it is a very efficient kiln...but, with salt we like to fire fast.
with the modules, and amount of kaowool liners we have in it, and
about 5 coats of itc, well it should fire fast.
simply coating a brick kiln with itc, well, don't think it will alter things
that much.
