Being a relative newcomer to clay, I was not familiar with Peggy Heer's work,
until I openned this month's Ceramics Monthly. Her work is truly astounding.
Looking at her pitted fired work is like looking into the very heart of a
dragon. Generations from now people will look at these pots and seeing a
living, breathing entity. I know that Peggy has been very sick, but I hope
she will take comfort from knowing that she has achieved what all artists
strive for but very few of us reach and that is immortality through her work.
She is a true inspiration for me and many, many others.
