I have read Tony's posts only since this past summer following a few
phone conversations with him during the construction of the Hay Creek
"little train". I have seen photos of some of his and Sheila's pots and
recently made a sight unseen purchase (one of each of their's), which I
truely enjoy! What brings me to this is a remark in the current issue
of Ceramics Monthly (pg 37) about 91 year old Cecil Baugh which I feel
applies to Tony. Not yet having met Tony in person my impression of him
is based on what I have written above and is that he is a "consumate
potter". The quote from CM is that "It seems the key to longevity is
being a consummate potter." My early holiday wish for Tony is a long,
happy, healthy, prodcutive life!

That goes for Mel too!
