Seward Park Art Studio, a non-profit clay studio in Seattle, WA is
having its huge holiday sale starting with the Preview Party on Fri.,
Dec.3rd, and running thru 5 p.m. on Dec. 24th.
The Preview Party costs $10 at the door ($2 off with the invitational
postcard), for which you get first pick of the pots, food and drink, and
schmoozing with some really nice and interesting clay artists. This is
not a student sale, it is the work of artist members, instructors, and
well-known guest artists, some of whose work has been in Ceramics
Monthly (Paul Lewing, Carol Gouthro, Matt Patton).

Pat Colyar in Gold Bar, WA , very embarrassed as a long-time Seattle
resident at the bad press that we're getting due to a few vandals at the
WTO protests ruining it for the vast majority. Violence gets all the
coverage, peace none.
