There are some great ceramic workshops at the Armory Art Center in West
Palm Beach, Fl (now famous for double-pin pushing). I'd like to take a
workshop from Jan 9-13. Does anyone know of inexpensive places to stay, a
room to rent in someone's house, etc.

I know West Palm Beach is a bit on the ritzy side but want to try a workshop

When I went last year, I stayed at a nearby Sheraton (I think it was). The
rate they quoted for armory participants was quite a bit higher than the
rate I ultimately got with my AAA or AARP, or whatever it was. I reserved
the room early (like now), and when I got there the rates had gotten much
